Level 1
Infomagnet searches are designed so that your query is escalated until you find all the results you need. At each escalation, you get the opportunity to communicate with us about the search results you have received – the higher the escalation, the more comprehensive are the tools we offer you. The first step, often after 10 minutes on Google, is Infomagnet level 1 search. It is a powerful tool in its own right or it can be used as a preliminary to more powerful search tools. Enter your search in plain English, describing exactly what you are looking for. Level 1 search relies mainly upon subject-specialized, trained operators. We search common databases, search engines, directories, online newspapers, and our own database to find high quality search results for you. Because our researchers are trained specialists who search the internet every day, we know where to start looking and we will save you a lot of time. Every result is hand filtered in order to give you only high quality useful links. A level 1 search returns up to 6 results. Where it is not possible to deliver 6 high quality results, for example, if there are very few web pages dedicated to the subject you are researching, you will receive between 1 and 5 results. Level 2
Level 2 search operates in much the same way as level 1 – a trained operator searches all of the search engines, databases and directories used for a level one search but in addition, there are 3 main differences resulting in a wider and deeper search of the web. Level 2 search will give you access to a larger number of resources including some registration and subscription-only sites. Our operators have the option to use custom spidering software when appropriate to your search. Our operators will spend 3 times as long as on a level 1 search. Level 2 search will deliver up to 10 high quality results. Where it is not possible to find 10 results of suitable quality or relevance, we will deliver only the results that will be useful to you. You will always have the opportunity to escalate the search if you want more results. Again, like level 1 search, there is no charge if we find no results. |

Level 3
In order to carry out a level 3 search, you must first carry out a level 1 or level 2 search. This allows you to receive preliminary results, rank them and comment on them to ensure that we will deliver the kind of links you are looking for in a level 3 search. Once you are satisfied that you have at least one useful link as a result of a level 1 or level 2 search, you will automatically be given options to escalate to a level 3 search. Level 3 search is used to provide high quality, in depth web-searching on a one off basis. It allows you to be well researched when preparing reports, presentations and analysis. Level 3 differs from levels 1 and 2 in terms of results delivered and search technique. Here, our operators make use of all the methods used for lower level searches but in addition use custom spidering and visualization software which allows us to visually surf the web, looking for hot-spots and clusters of useful information. Whilst more time consuming to set up, this is a highly efficient method of search allowing us to deliver more results. Level 3 search delivers between 1-50 very high quality results. We limit the maximum number of results to 50 so that you can efficiently use our research without spending too much of your own time looking through many web pages. Level 4
Level 4 search delivers results in much the way as level 3 but is intended for use when you require results on a monthly basis. All level 4 searches are initiated with a level 1 or level 2 search. This is how we ensure that we are finding links that are useful to you. Start with a low level search, comment on it, repeat it if necessary and escalate it giving us your feedback at every step. Once you have at least one useful result from a level 1, level 2 or level 3 search, you are able to escalate it to level 4. Level 5
The most extensive web searching available. Once you have received results from a level 1,2 or 3 search, you will have the option to escalate the search to level 5. This is somewhat like a level 4 search, delivering results on a monthly basis. A level 5 search however uses more sophisticated search spiders, custom written to your needs. A manager is assigned to each level 5 search and you have the opportunity to discuss your search requirements and each month’s search results with your search manager on an ongoing basis. Sophisticated black and white listing is available and together we create a priority scheme for your results.
